The Mount Allison Mounties women's hockey program is pleased to announce that Molly Baxendale has joined the garnet and gold starting this fall.

Molly comes to the Mounties program after playing with the MacIntyre Chevy Panthers in the NSFMHL AAA league. As assistant captain of the team this past season, Molly was third in team scoring after a season shortened due to injury, but came back to lead the team in scoring in the playoffs and was named league Most Sportsmanlike Player for the 2019/2020 season. Molly is a 5’3” forward, who shoots right and plays center or right wing.

Baxendale hails from Dalem Lake, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia where she began playing hockey with the Northside Vikings (Northside and District Minor Hockey Association) through Peewee. Baxendale then transferred to the Cape Breton Female Bantam AA program (Glace Bay Minor Hockey) to play female hockey, before joining the Chevy Panthers team.
