The Mount Allison Mounties men's basketball team hosted the UNBSJ Sea Wolves on Sunday band gave the home crowd something to cheer about with a 92-61 win over UNBSJ. The Mounties went into the halftime break tied with the Sea Wolves at 36, but outscored the UNBSJ team 56-25 in the second half.
11 Mounties found their way on to the score sheet, with Bradley Sanford scoring a game high 25 points, while Thomas LeGallais had 15, and Bradley Fuller and Brody Blakney each had 9. Freshman Sengwoo Park had a game high 7 rebounds and a game high 3 assists.
UNBSJ's top scorer was Keegan Gray with 12. Liam Sipkema had 11 and Corey Armstrong had 10.
MTA will host the Dalhousie Agricultural Rams next week.
