The men's basketball Mounties defeated UKC Blue Devils Saturday afternoon, 84-71, making it the Mounties' ninth consecutive win!
Third-year Mountie, James French had a stellar performance against UKC; leading his Mounties with 26 points, 2 steals and 16 rebounds. Kingston's own, Sam Pierson added 15 points, made 3 steals, 3 assists and ripped down 12 rebounds away from the Blue Devils. Brett Curtis dropped in 10 points, made 3 steals, 2 assists and 3 rebounds. Also, with 8 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists is Torontonian and rookie, Emanuel Adugna. Rounding out the attack on the Blue Devils was Richmond, British Columbia's Trevor Schulz with 8 points and 3 rebounds while six-foot three guard, Aram Currie added 5 points and 5 rebounds, Noah McCarthy 5 pts, Emmanuel Octavious 4 pts, and Ite Adekeye 3 pts.
