Addison Martin joins Mounties Women’s Basketball program

The Mount Allison Mounties Women's Basketball program is pleased to announce the commitment of Addison Martin. Addison hails from Moncton, NB and has recently wrapped up a successful season with the Harrison Trimble Trojans.

Coming off a campaign in which she was named an NBIAA All Star, Addison is looking forward to stepping up to the next level as part of the Mounties Women's Basketball program. "I can't wait to start my academic and basketball career at Mount Allison in the fall," said Martin. "I'm also looking forward to getting a chance to experience both the university life and life of an athlete in general."

"We are extremely excited to have Addison joining our program this fall. She has proven herself to be a dominant interior scorer with the ability to cause matchup problems for any team", commented Head Coach, Tom Skabar. "We are really looking forward to getting her on campus and helping her reach her full potential as a student-athlete". When asked about her ambitions for next year, Addison was clear: "My goal is to grow as a student-athlete. I want to perform my best on the court and in the classroom."
